BREAST CANCER BRUNCH, CELEBRATION OF LOVE, LIFE, AND HOPE (presented by She's Happy Foundation) Hosted by Kandi Eastman
If you haven’t taken notice yet, you’ll find that the town may be painted in pink during the month of October. This is the month in which we celebrate “Breast Cancer Awareness” as a means to educate our communities, encourage the women and men whom have been directly and indirectly affected, and nevertheless, have loads of fun doing so.
The term “breast cancer” refers to a malignant tumor that has developed from cells in the breast”. There are many myths about how breast cancer happens. But, about 85-90% of breast cancers are due to genetic abnormalities that happen as a result of the aging process, and the “wear and tear” of life in general. (breastcancer.org) And, to educate those whom are unaware, yes, men can be diagnosed with breast cancer.
Out of a plethora of events and activities that will take place in our communities, we highlight the, Breast Cancer Brunch “Celebration of Love, Life, & Hope”, presented by She’s Happy Hair & the She’s Happy Foundation on October 20, 2019. This event will be hosted by Majic 102.1’s Midday Announcer and breast cancer survivor, Kandi Eastman.
