Meet us at Levy Park for some family fun!

Easter Seals Greater Houston is hosting socially-distanced family events in Houston, TX. These events are for service members, veterans and military-related family members, as well as, individuals with disabilities and their families. These events will be held across the Greater Houston area designed to engage families in socially-distanced fun.

Easter Seals will provide do-it-yourself activities kits as well as one snack-pack per registration. Levy Park is full of amenities such as: reading room, art cart, games cart, wifi, food available for purchase, play ground, and so much more!

Family Days Out

“Water Day” – July 17, 2021 – 5-8pm

Each attendee MUST REGISTER HERE to receive activity kits and snack-pack.

– Snack-Pack: water bottle, gummy snack, cracker pack

Levy Park has a children’s park water feature and we will utilize it during our “water day” activities. Come ready to play in the water!

Easter Seals Greater Houston COVID-19 Expectations:

– Masks* will be required when in close proximity of others and while in our rental space (children’s pavilion).

– All activities will be socially distanced; families are expected to stay 6 ft apart from other families.

– At check-in, all families will be required to participate in a COVID-19 screening questionnaire.

– Any repeated non-compliance with our COVID-19 expectations will result in families being asked to leave this event.

*Mask exemptions will be made for those 2 and under, and for people with disabilities who cannot wear a mask, or cannot safely wear a mask, for reasons related to the disability.

The park is open to the community/public, so be prepared to encounter individuals not apart of our program.

Levy Park Rules:

• All Park Rules, Children’s Park Rules, and Dog Park Rules must be abided by. Click the blue hyper links to open the park rules.

• Space and furniture within Levy Park is open to the public. At this time tables and chairs in the park cannot be moved to allow for social distancing.

• Glass is prohibited within the park.

• Outside alcohol is prohibited. Food, including beer and wine, can be purchased from Love Shack and Side Dough and consumed anywhere in the park. Food from Woodshed Smokehouse can be ordered to-go and consumed on the grounds. All alcohol from Woodshed must be consumed within their restaurant and patio. Additionally, Woodshed Smokehouse can also accommodate gatherings. You can contact them for reservation information or complete an event inquiry form here.

• We ask that all visitors follow CDC guidance on handwashing, the recommended size of social gatherings, minimum recommended social distancing, and facial coverings.
