Small Business Development University
December 4, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Are you a small business owner or an aspiring entrepreneur in the start-up or growth phase of your business cycle and you are just not sure on how to develop a balanced business plan for long term sustainability, certified, but unable to scale to capacity, raise limited Capital, find a reliable business network or determine a strategy that will create a demand for your product and/or services? If you answered “Yes” to any one of these questions you are a prime candidate for the Houston Area Urban League’s Small Business Development University program.
This year we have expanded our innovative curriculum to include a mobile technology lab sponsored by BP and Microsoft products. Our team of business consultants, subject matter experts, and community partners will utilize this technological platform to create a more efficient learning environment for our entrepreneurs.
The Small Business Development University program, funded by the National Urban League Entrepreneurship Center, has been a turnkey solution to entrepreneurship for the Houston business development community for over 8 years. Since 2011, we have been able to provide supportive services to over 5,000 small businesses that contribute to wealth creation, job creation and better economic health in the minority and urban core communities of Greater Houston Area. The goal of this program is to help established minority entrepreneurs obtain the necessary management skills that will enable them to take advantage of new business opportunities and qualify for financing that will lead to higher levels of business growth.
Thank you in advance for entrusting your business aspirations with our team. We look forward to helping you grow your business in the near future.
